About Riff Diamond

Riff Diamond is a new blues/rock band from Northern Ireland. We draw our inspiration from many of the greats of blues and rock like Muddy Waters, BB King, Etta James, Clapton, Hendrix, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd right through to Bonamassa and Gov't Mule (and far too many more to name here) and develop our own distinctively bluesy and rocking songs as well as performing some storming covers of classic tracks.

We are the antithesis of the bland, over-engineered, mass-produced and marketing driven "pop" that has been forced on the public for the past decade and more ... we try to embody the old fashioned values of well-crafted melodies and harmonies, thoughtful lyrics and virtuoso musicianship. Think of the music you hear on Pop Idol, The X-Factor and the Voice ... now think of the complete opposite - that's Riff Diamond!
