Cover of Cream Sunshine of your Love
Where would modern blues/rock, and British blues as well, be without this legendary Cream riff? It just begs for a cover version, so we duly oblige. Rumour has it that the distinctive bass riff was developed after attending a Hendrix concert. The song uses a minor pentatonic scale with an added flattened fifth note: i.e. – the “common blues progression”. Unlike typical rock drumming, the drum pattern here emphasises beats one and three.
